The AI Stakeholder Forum, founded March 2024, consists of various associations and interest groups and is intended to strengthen a lively and active exchange between the federal government and Austria's various stakeholders in the field of artificial intelligence. Part of the AI Stakeholder Forum are amongst others representatives of employers and labour in Austria, AI and IT associations, as well as associations for youth and for disabilities.

The AI Stakeholder Forum, founded March 2024, consists of 30 diverse associations and interest groups: The broad range of associations covers amongst others organisations from the AI ecosystem, representatives of employers and labour, as well as organisations representing the interests of people with disabilities, youth and senior citizens. The newly created forum is intended to promote and strengthen the exchange between the federal government, represented by Austria's Federal Chancellery (BKA) and Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK), and Austria's various stakeholders in the field of artificial intelligence.The AI Stakeholder Forums main objectives are: Exchange: The AI Stakeholder Forum aims to promote a lively and active exchange on various aspects of artificial intelligence, both between the federal government and stakeholders, as well as between the nominated members. Information: The AI Stakeholder Forum is also intended to distribute the latest news from the European Union, the Federal Government and the AI Advisory Board more quickly in order to be able to react more dynamically to upcoming changes resulting from the AI Act coming into force. Synergies: By bringing together the diverse and broad-based associations and interest groups in the AI Stakeholder Forum, new synergies can be found and new perspectives can be added to existing collaborations.
