In 2020, during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, the Government of Rwanda signed an agreement with the Forum to establish C4IR Rwanda.Part of a network of 19 centres globally, C4IR Rwanda is shaping the trajectory of the Fourth Industrial Revolution with local knowledge that can empower global change.Informed by national development priorities, Rwanda has decided to focus its Centre's work on data governance and artificial intelligence and machine learning.Objectives:To facilitate the co-design, testing and refinement of governance protocols and policy frameworks to maximise the social benefits and minimise the risks of advanced science and technology
