Initiative overview

Poland’s Open Data Programme 2021–2027, implemented alongside the Act on Open Data and the Re-use of Public Sector Information, outlines measures to expand access to public sector information and improve data governance. It focuses on increasing the availability of datasets through the national portal Dane.gov.pl, including greater use of APIs, while also enhancing interoperability and data quality. The programme aims to support wider data use and exchange across public institutions and stimulate markets for cultural and scientific data re-use, contributing to both transparency and innovation.
