Initiative overview
In June 2020, the Danish government in collaboration with municipalities and regions launched the website sprogteknologi.dk where metadata about existing language resources are gathered and displayed. Future actions include the development of further Danish language resources, e.g. a central word register and the development of a Danish speech recognition resource.Furhter open-source text data should ensure easy and efficient access to data, thereby accelerating innovation in, for example, small and medium-sized Danish enterprises. With open-source text data, all actors”Danish and international”will be able to use the data to create competitive Danish-language artificial intelligence. The available data should be accessible open-source on sprogteknologi.dk, where it will be presented alongside additional Danish language data.
