The OECD.AI Policy Navigator

A specialised programme in partnership with “Prof. Asen Zlatarov” University in Bulgaria focuses on enhancing teachers’ digital competencies. It aims to train 225 teachers in the use of augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) software for educational purposes, helping them create more engaging and interactive learning experiences.

The Institute of Public Administration conducts conferences, forums, and trainings on AI technologies, including AI’s use in governance and HR management.

A framework under development that will establish comprehensive standards for data management across Bulgaria's digital ecosystem. The NDGRF is established by decision of the Minister of Electronic Governance and regards the national public administration as a whole. Sub-goal 7.2 focuses on using big data in healthcare, specifically enabling the secondary use of health data for research and innovation. The necessary regulations to ensure this, aligned with European Commission recommendations, are currently under consideration and still being discussed.

This platform is designed to improve of diagnostics and treatment of socially important diseases. It is also expected to facilitate communication between healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders.

The ForeSight Project is a European collaborative initiative that uses AI-powered tools to help civil protection agencies respond to emergencies. It focuses on predicting and managing wildfires and urban incidents. By combining advanced AI algorithms and real-time data, the project enhances safety and emergency response efficiency.

The Platform aims to foster effective collaboration in research and innovation between the government, universities, scientific organizations, and businesses.
