The resolution highlights the need to "establish leadership in digital industrial value chains and key technologies such as 5G, quantum technologies, high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data analytics, the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, automation (including Highly-Automated Driving) and Distributed Ledger Technology".The initiative has the following objectives:- To create conditions for successful industrial digitisation: infrastructure, investment, innovation and skills.- To develop an integrated Industrial Digitalisation Strategy (IDS) for the EU.
