Initiative overview

The initiative has the following objectives:One of the main objectives of online gambling regulation in Portugal is to ensure player protection. In this regard, promoting responsible gambling practices in the regulated market is one of the guiding principles of the Servio de Regula£o e Inspe£o de Jogos (Service of Regulation and Inspection of Games) as the regulatory entity for this activity.The goal is to develop a process for evaluating addictive gambling risk behaviors. This process will allow us to identify, analyze, and take preventive action regarding any players who already show signs or patterns of gambling addiction.
