The AI Portugal 2030 strategy aims to foster a collective process mobilizing citizens at large and key stakeholders in particular, towards building-up a knowledge intensive labour-market with a strong community of forefront companies producing and exporting AI technologies supported by research and innovation communities involved in excellent high level research.

Over the next two years, the AEXCIA platform, an AI-powered consumer experience management tool, will automate the handling of citizens’ complaints and information requests while analysing consumer behaviour, particularly on social networks. Designed to enhance efficiency, AEXCIA will support regulatory and supervisory activities by providing insights into consumer satisfaction and company conduct, ultimately improving consumer experience management through advanced AI capabilities.

Portugal’s National Data Strategy aims to create a collaborative data ecosystem that promotes data altruism and drives innovation. It focuses on ethical data management, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous monitoring of data initiatives to assess their societal and economic impact.

The investor will be able to choose the relevant factors for their location decision from a comprehensive list of criteria, including, among others: 1 - Availability of infrastructure or land for construction2 - Type of required infrastructure (e.g., factory vs. office) and areas3 - Requirements for adjacent infrastructure (roads, ports, railways, IT, etc.)4 - Available human resources5 - Installation costs6 - Regulatory requirements (such as environmental licenses)

AI-driven project to digitise handwritten complaint reports in the public administration’s Yellow Book, aiming to reduce processing time, enhance evaluation standards, and extend electronic support for complaints. The Yellow Book (Livro Amarelo) is a public administration tool that allows citizens to submit complaints, suggestions, and compliments regarding public services. It serves as a formal channel for feedback, helping to improve the quality and accountability of public administration.
