The Governance Committee is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the Brazilian Artificial Intelligence Strategy, and it is composed of private and public organisations, civil organisations and specialists.
Initiative overview
The initiative has the following objectives:Collaborate with different bodies and public entities with competences related to the digital theme so that programs, projects and initiatives in these themes are coherent with the EBIA.Promote the sharing of information and the analysis of the impact of sectorial initiatives in the artificial intelligence environment, aiming at the harmonization and promotion of efficiency and synergy between the actions in charge of different bodies and entities.Articulate with similar bodies in other countries, States, Municipalities and the Federal DistrictPropose to the competent bodies the adoption of measures and the enactment of normative acts necessary for the execution of the identified strategic actions.Decide on the establishment of a multisectoral technical instance, with the purpose of providing permanent dialogue and articulation between the Government and representatives of the scientific community, the productive sector and civil society, with regard to the evaluation, implementation and updating of the EBIA.
