Shortage in AI experts with graduate-level academic qualifications constitutes a barrier to the local high-tech industry’s ability to fulfil its potential for AI-driven innovation. Some 300-400 advanced degree graduates complete their studies each year and join the high-tech industry in research roles. Yet the demand for such experts is much higher. Attracting foreign talent into the Israeli high-tech eco system serves to expand and diversify the local expert pool.

Developed by several ministries and experts, it supports innovation while promoting fairness, safety, and transparency for all sectors using AI.

Israel has opened a public call to support AI projects in government. The goal is to improve digital services, increase efficiency, and enhance decision-making. Projects are chosen based on feasibility, impact, planning, and ethical risk management, helping government provide better services to citizens.
