Through the initiatives proposed related with IA, the plan wills to promote new technical degrees and/or increase the number of places in existing university degrees and speed up procedures so that new university degrees can be launched more quickly, opening up the field of collaboration with other fields of knowledge, not to be restricted exclusively to instrumental training in technological skills.It is also necessary to promote the development of open training resources.

Initiative overview

The research and development of artificial intelligence (AI) has far-reaching societal implications. This requires expanding the profiles of those involved in the design, development and analysis of intelligent systems beyond their purely technical dimension. Through the initiatives proposed related with IA, the plan wills to promote new technical degrees and/or increase the number of places in existing university degrees and speed up procedures so that new university degrees can be launched more quickly, opening up the field of collaboration with other fields of knowledge, not to be restricted exclusively to instrumental training in technological skills.It is also necessary to promote the development of open training resources.The Plan is another measure that contributes to the development of the 6 strategic axes of the National IA Strategy, which fosters citizen.´s training or the deployment of artificial intelligence in the public sector.The initiative has the following objectives:improve digital skills in the IA arenaaccelerating the uptake of this technology by the citizenship (especially for businesses and SMEs)fostering the development of a data-driven economy

In this Plan, the proposed model of governance is termed a Digital Skills Hub, to be created as a public-private institutional associative body, which will guide the implementation of the Plan to achieve the following goals: 1. Create a joint work space in which, for example, combined indicators will be defined to measure the progress and impact of the actions led by different departments, and to foster the exchange of best practices in launching, managing and evaluating project
