The Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, in cooperation with the Slovene Enterprise Fund, provides grants of up to €100,000 to support the digital transformation of SMEs. The programme also encourages adoption of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, to modernise business operations.

Initiative overview

This initiative aims to help micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Slovenia adopt digital technologies and improve competitiveness. Grants can be used for technology investments, digital strategy development, software and hardware implementation, and upskilling staff.

Key features of the programme include:

  • Funding amount: up to €100,000 per enterprise.
  • Target technologies: digital tools, advanced technologies such as AI, automation, data analytics, and cloud solutions.
  • Scope of support: includes purchases of ICT equipment, software development, robotic process automation, AI systems, cloud services, digital marketing, and staff training.
  • Implementation: delivered jointly by the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport and the Slovene Enterprise Fund, in alignment with EU guidelines for SME digitalisation.
