Initiative overview
Korea established a National Artificial Intelligence Committee, a presidential initiative, to efficiently deliberate and coordinate AI-related policies to foster the national AI industry and build trust in AI. The Committee, aimed at serving as the hub for public-private cooperation for national AI capacity building, consists of 30 members from the private sector, 10 minister-level members from government departments, Senior Secretary to the President for Science and Technology, and the Third Deputy Director of National Security.
