Initiative overview

The Forum IA Quebec is an non-profit organisation established April 2020. Its creation stems from a recommendation in the Strategy for the Development of Quebecs Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem by the Artificial Intelligence Cluster Steering Committee that was presented in 2018 to the Ministry of Economy and Innovation of Quebec (MEI). The MEI is the main financial partner of Forum IA Quebec.The initiative has the following objectives:To ensure the consultation of local stakeholders and their mobilisation around common projects.To carry out monitoring and strategic thinking activities.To promote the influence of the AI ecosystem in Quebec, Canada and abroad.
