Initiative overview
Initiative is related to the implementation of 2nd strategic goal of National AI plan NpUI ensuring proper Education and strengthening of human resources.The initiative has the following objectives:- an overview of the current real labour market by sector (NACE) and job in Slovenia in terms of the need for different levels of ICT skills;- Identification and analysis of the sectors and jobs in Slovenia that are expected to be modified or replaced in view of the impact (positive and negative) that can be expected from the introduction of artificial intelligence, including from a gender perspective, over the next 10 years;- Identification and analysis of new ways of working based on the gig economy, which manages people and resources on the basis of AI algorithms, and its impact on the labour market, employment relations, working conditions and organisation, and workers' rights;- An analysis of the need for AI skills and competences in Slovenia over the next 10 years (separately in terms of the requirements of the ICT sector, where AI technologies and solutions are being developed, and other sectors where AI is being used to improve their own business or to develop their own new innovative products and services), in terms of projected employment profiles and jobs by sector in Slovenia, including in terms of the potential for ensuring gender equality.
