Initiative overview
The Voluntary Code of Conduct for the Ethical and Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence is a soft-law initiative launched by Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation in 2024. It was developed as part of Ukraine’s broader efforts to establish a human-centric AI governance framework. The Code provides non-binding but structured guidance for public and private sector organisations that develop, deploy, or manage artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
