The Walloon Digital Agency (Agence du Numérique) leads the DigitalWallonia4.AI programme, a cornerstone initiative advancing artificial intelligence (AI) adoption across Wallonia. The programme aims to strengthen the region’s digital ecosystem by supporting the development and integration of AI solutions in both public and private sectors.
Since its launch, DigitalWallonia4.AI has supported more than 500 AI projects across Walloon companies and public organisations. These initiatives cover a wide spectrum of technological maturity — from early-stage experimentation to large-scale deployment — and address diverse domains such as manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and public administration. By doing so, the programme accelerates innovation and enhances the competitiveness of Walloon enterprises.
The initiative takes a comprehensive and inclusive approach, engaging not only start-ups but also established firms and public institutions. Through funding support, awareness-raising activities, and access to expertise, the Walloon Digital Agency ensures that AI technologies are accessible to organisations of all sizes.
