Charles Martinet is a summer fellow at the Centre for the Governance of AI and an affiliate researcher at the Oxford Martin AI Governance Initiative. His work aims to deliver research-based and operational policy advice for the international and European governance of advanced AI. His work has been published by Euractiv, the German Marshall Fund, the Center for European Policy Analysis, the European Studies Review, and others. Charles previously worked at the Secretariat of the European Parliament’s directorate-general for external policies, at the international digital policy unit of the French Ministry of Economics, and in various think-tanks. He was a EU Tech Policy Fellow and a Youth Fellow at the European Dialogue on Internet Governance.
