Automated Multi-agent Analysis of Occupational Licensing
Occupational licensing can serve legitimate public interests, but it can also create unnecessary barriers to entering the labor market. Czechia regulates more than 300 professions, and for many of them little is known about whether requirements are in line with practice in comparable EU countries. The Government Analytical Office developed an automated multi-agent system to assess all regulated professions and provide evidence for ministerial decisions on where rules could be simplified.
