The National Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Czech Republic was launched in May July 201924 with the main objective to make the Czech Republic an innovation leader. Stakeholders are represented in the Committee on Artificial Intelligence, a working group of the Committee for a Digital Economy and Society. The Committee oversees the implementation of the National AI Strategy (NAIS) and facilitates dialogue among government, business, research, local authorities, and the non-profit sector.
Its main activities include coordinating NAIS implementation, overseeing objectives, approving and updating the Strategy Action Plan, sharing information on AI developments, and preparing opinions on AI-related legislation. The Committee meets at least twice a year, chaired by its chairman or vice-chairman.
To what extent are there mechanisms that ensure inter-governmental coordination?
