National AI Action Plan 2026–2030 (AI Nation 2030) sets out Malaysia’s national AI strategy and strategic direction towards becoming an Inclusive and Sustainable AI Nation. It provides a whole-of-nation approach to deploying AI across Government, Business and the Rakyat, translating technological capability into tangible and measurable benefits, while moving Malaysia from building readiness to delivering results.

Malaysia’s National Artificial Intelligence Roadmap (AI‑Rmap), led by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, covers 2021–2025. It aims to build a sustainable national AI innovation ecosystem to improve productivity, competitiveness and quality of life, focusing on governance, research and development, digital infrastructure, talent and AI adoption, guided by Responsible AI principles.

MY-AI Standards, run by AI Malaysia Berhad, serves as the central gateway for Malaysia’s AI ecosystem to access, learn about, and implement international AI standards. It connects stakeholders with relevant standards, guidance and resources, while strengthening Malaysia’s engagement in international AI standards development and promoting greater awareness and adoption across the AI ecosystem.

The Voluntary AI Code of Ethics (AICE) is a voluntary, non-binding guidance document that supports organisations in translating Malaysia's seven (7) AI Principles into practical implementation across the AI lifecycle. It supports organisations in applying AI ethics principles across the AI lifecycle and promotes trustworthy, human-centred AI practices.

The Boardroom Primer to AI Adoption and Governance is a voluntary, non-binding guidance document designed to help boards, directors and senior management strengthen oversight of AI adoption and governance. It provides practical guidance on understanding AI, assessing AI adoption, managing risks, strengthening organisational governance and evaluating board AI readiness.
