Government assignment to 25 Swedish national authorities to report on their use of AI
The Government has decided to assign 25 national authorities to report on their use of AI. The assignment includes reporting on what collaborations exist with other authorities and what training or other competence-enhancing initiatives have been offered to the staff. The authorities must also report on the challenges linked to ethics, regulation and security.

eSam
41 government agencies are organized through eSam, a public collaboration mechanism for digitalization of the public sector, which has been implementing seven AI-related initiatives in 2023/2024, including i) use of AI in the creation of public documents, ii) Risks and prerequisites for exchanging models for AI development, iii) a common platform for chatbots, iv) practical application of AI solutions (interpretation), v) generative AI-based services, vi) AI for communication ops.
