The AI Regulatory Sandbox, developed in collaboration with the European Commission, is a digital space that seeks to connect competent authorities with AI development companies to jointly define best practices when implementing future European AI regulation, and ensure its application.The AI Sandbox will be implemented by two focus groups and they will work on the publication of initial guidelines. The initiative will include a quality label. Final deliverables with the implementation guidelines, the good practices and the lessons learnt developed in the sandbox, will be published during the Spanish Presidency of the UE Council.The initiative has the following objectives:Connect competent authorities with companies developing AI and together find the best way to operationalize the future obligations of the AI regulation in easy-to-follow & future-proof good practice guidelines and other supporting materials.
