Initiative overview

Since formulating the Strategy in 2019 in the form of four strategic objectives, the government has been actively promoting various measures to realize these strategic objectives. In addition, the government has reviewed and revised these measures on an annual basis.The initiative has the following objectives:To specify the environment and measures conducive to effective future utilization of AI, including generative AI, for the purposes of contributing to the solution of global issues through realization of Society 5.0 and overcoming the issues facing Japanese society.
