Initiative overview

The Prêt Boost Intelligence Artificielle is part of Bpifrance Flash's suite of online SME loans (alongside Prêt Boost Transformation Numérique, Prêt Boost Industrie, etc.). It is delivered entirely online through Bpifrance's digital platform with a response within 48 hours and disbursement within 7 days. The loan requires no personal or corporate guarantee (sans garantie ni caution personnelle) and operates on a co-financing basis: the applicant must have an existing bank loan with a remaining repayment period of more than 3 years. Loan duration is 3 to 5 years, with a repayment deferral period of up to 12 or 24 months to allow the business to realise AI benefits before repayments begin. Eligible expenses include AI software acquisition, implementation costs, consulting fees, and AI project costs. To be eligible, a company must: be a VSEs or SME under the EU definition with fewer than 49 employees; be incorporated and operating in France (metropolitan and DROM (overseas)); be at least 3 years old; and be financially sound.
