Initiative overview

Mexico's Digital Transformation and Telecommunications Agency is considering the use of artificial intelligence in several of its projects. One of the main objectives is to improve the efficiency of the public administration through the digitization of procedures and processes, which is why it could be understood that it is linked to all aspects of technology, for which one of its functions also includes participating in international forums, regarding the matters of its competence, with the appropriate intervention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to propose to it the conclusion of international conventions and treaties in such matters and to participate in the conclusion and monitoring of the implementation of international agreements in the areas of information technologies, communications, telecommunications and broadcasting.
