The National Development Plan establishes that Conacyt is the lead on innovation and social development trough science and technology. The Council implements a new programme for all funding and projects where each initiative has to be supported with clear objectives of social and regional development, clear path of social impact and involve the perspectives of academia, government and private industry.The initiative has the following objectives:Conacyt has a new model for implementation of programmes based in a pentahelix. That means that all projects must involve academia, government, private industry, social development and environmental perspective.
