Initiative overview

The National Platform for Semiconductor Technologies (PNTS), launched in December 2024, is a strategic initiative led by IMT Bucharest and supported by Romania’s Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digitalization. Funded under the Smart Growth, Digitalization, and Financial Instruments Program (2021–2027), the platform aims to consolidate national R&D capabilities in semiconductors.
