Initiative overview

The goal to make AI core components available and reusable is included in the Estonian national action plan for the implementation of AI. The core components can be further "trained" by the subsequent institutions on the basis of their data and needs, and thus reused in their field without duplicating development. Among other things, the goal is to make public the following solutions: speech recognition, speech synthesis, text keyword extractor, and a chatbot. This has the potential to accelerate the uptake of AI solutions in both the public and private sector. The initiative has the following objectives:The objective is to share different applications based on AI that all interested parties in the public and private sectors are able to reuse without charge and to further develop according to their own needs.
