Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem Call 2023
This support model aims to facilitate collaboration between companies seeking artificial intelligence solutions and relevant stakeholders. The model encourages companies to form a consortium comprising a technology provider, a university research laboratory/center or a public research center/institute with expertise in artificial intelligence, and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkiye Artificial Intelligence Institute.
AI Education and Awareness Project
Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkiye (TOBB) and Global AI Hub are collaborating for the AI Education and Awareness Project. It aims to increase qualified human resources and contribute to the AI ecosystem with the training to be given within the scope of the project.‹
COVID-19 Detection with AI
Within the scope of this project, the estimates made by AI models (developed by the Presidency Digital Transformation Office), the reasoning behind these predictions were presented to relevant physicians, and the AI-model results are in accordance with the concept of explainability of artificial intelligence.

Trustworthy AI Trust Stamp
We have initiated to work on developing a trust stamp that indicates that trustworthy AI was used in the AI-enabled products to enhance customer trust. In this regard, studies on determining criteria and metrics continue with the Turkish Standards Institute. Expert group meetings are held and methodology determination activities are carried out by examining international studies.
Breast Cancer Detection With AI
The benign and malignant anomalies in mammography images are labelled by radiologists using the labelling tool developed within the Presidency Digital Transformation Office. AI-models will continue to be developed with open source data sets.

Türkiye Open Source Platform
Established under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, with the partnership of IT Valley and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkiye Turkish Management Sciences Institute, the "Turkiye Open Source Platform" continues its activities to develop the open-source ecosystem with its stakeholders consisting of public and private sector companies, NGOs, universities, educational institutions, and communities.
National Data Dictionary
There are currently ongoing efforts to launch a National Data Dictionary (NDD) in order to solve a number of problems such as the challenges of integrating information systems of public institutions and organizations, duplicate and conflictive data, lack of a common language in information systems and unknown data ownership. The NDD has started the process of standardizing data, and a Data Dictionary Portal has been established under the auspices of the Digital Transformation Office.
Turkish Natural Language Processing Project
With this project, it is aimed to prepare the user-friendly and high-performance libraries and data sets required for the processing of Turkish texts and to establish the distribution infrastructure of the clusters, and to provide the data and tools.
Turkish National E-science E-infrastructure
TRUBA, which has more than 1900 researchers from 114 different universities, provides direct service to contribute to scientific studies, carries out joint projects with different public institutions and research institutes and took part in 13 European Union Framework Programme Projects since its establishment, is an e-Infrastructure of strategic importance in the national sense.
