As Executive Director at the Responsible AI Institute, Var helps organizations use AI in alignment with applicable laws, frameworks and best practices. A graduate of Harvard Law School, Var previously practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP and worked on the Clinton Global Initiative. He is a Co-Instructor, along with Alexis Cook, of Kaggle’s AI Ethics course. He is also member of the OECD Network of Experts, the Brookings Forum for Cooperation on AI, and the World Economic Forum’s AI Governance Alliance.
