The Public Administration Pillar of Italy’s National Strategy for AI (2024–2026) focuses on using AI to modernise public services. It aims to make administrative processes more efficient and improve the accessibility and quality of services for citizens and businesses. The strategy also promotes AI training and education for public sector employees.

AI Chatbot for Statistical Analyses of Fiscal Data
The initiative consists in the development of an AI-based chatbot capable of analysing aggregated statistical data. The first chatbot prototype was based on a monolithic assistant, but a multimodal agent is being designed with the support of our technical partner, Società Generale d’Informatica (SOGEI). The initiative develops an AI-based chatbot designed to analyse aggregates fiscal data and statistical data and support advanced analytical tasks. It addresses the growing volume and complexity

Voucher Cloud & Cybersecurity
A ministerial voucher programme to subsidise the purchase/subscription of cloud and cybersecurity services by SMEs and self-employed persons (eligible products explicitly include cloud SaaS with integrated AI features such as productivity/ERP/CRM tools). The measure reduces infrastructure and security barriers for SMEs adopting AI-enabled software.
