Investment fund backed by state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) to promote startups investing in Artificial Intelligence (AI), including generative AI. Use of direct and indirect investments to promote the development of all players in the innovation chain.

Documentation of existing AI case law in the employment context.

From September 2022, companies and research centers can benefit from tax incentives to carry out innovation and research projects related to artificial intelligence, blockchain and internet of things technologies and applications.

Fund to finance experimentation and testing activities of the above mentioned emerging technologies.

The Program aims at developing the use of emerging technologies within the national territory, by creating centers for research in the cities with an ongoing 5G trial and co-financing projects.

The Italian National PhD Program in Artificial Intelligence is made of 5 federated PhD courses that bring together 61 universities and research institutions. The 5 PhD courses share a common basis in the foundations and developments of AI (including generative AI), and each one has an area of specialisation in a strategic sector of AI application (Health and life sciences; Agrifood and environment; Security and cybersecurity; Industry 4.0; Society).

CINECA is a not-for-profit consortium, made up of the Italian Ministry of Education, the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research, 69 Italian universities and 21 Italian National Institutions.

Strengthening skills and attracting talents to develop an Artificial Intelligence ecosystem in Italy; increasing funding for advanced research in Artificial Intelligence; and incentivizing the adoption of Artificial Intelligence and its applications both in public administrations and in the private sector.
