The Integrated Care Agreement (IZA) in the Netherlands is a major healthcare reform initiative aimed at improving collaboration across the healthcare system. Backed by €2.395 billion in funding from 2023 to 2027, its goal is to accelerate the development and implementation of regional transformation plans. These plans are co-created by healthcare providers, professionals, insurers, municipalities, and patient organizations, focusing on delivering more appropriate, efficient, and patient-centered care through a bundled funding model.
