Initiative overview

The initiative has the following objectives:To create an AI Industry in Egypt, including the development of skills, technology, ecosystem, infrastructure and governance mechanisms to ensure its sustainability and competitiveness. Egypt's AI Strategy has different pillars:1. AI for Government: The rapid adoption of artificial intelligence technologies through the automation of government processes to increase efficiency and transparency.2. AI for Development: Apply AI in key developmental sectors in Egypt such as agriculture, health Care, environment, infrastructure and manufacturing to help solving the country's challenges in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.3. Capacity Building: Prepare the Egyptian population for the age of AI at all levels, from spreading general awareness to guiding formal education and offering vocational training.4. International Relations: Establishing Egypt as a hub for the different AI activities in the region and being an active global player in the different initiatives and AI related discussions.
