Initiative overview
In response to the implications of advancing technology, Egypt published its own legislation concerning the protection of the personal data. The new law protects the privacy of the personal data and it also sets a legal framework to regulate data transfers to other countries.The initiative has the following objectives:The law regulates and governs the relation between the data owners and both data controllers and data processors.
