The Netherlands’ network of six European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs) provides tailored support for the digital transformation of both businesses and public institutions. Five hubs concentrate on advancing private-sector competitiveness, helping SMEs adopt AI, cloud, and data-driven technologies, while one hub is dedicated to public-sector innovation, guiding authorities in applying digital tools to improve services.
These hubs act as regional entry points into the EU-wide EDIH ecosystem, giving Dutch organisations access to expertise, testbeds, funding opportunities, and cross-border collaborations. They seek to lower barriers to AI uptake, ensuring that companies and public bodies alike can explore and implement trustworthy and efficient digital solutions.
