This initiative aims to promote the digital transformation of the country by training teachers in the use of tools that contribute to promoting the teaching of computational thinking and programming in the classroom. In this way, the Plan will leave capacities installed in the schools.

Initiative overview

The National Plan for Digital Languages is an initiative specifically oriented to the training of teachers and education professionals in topics related to the development of computational thinking ” understood as a way of solving problems ” and another, to computational programming and physical computational programming, more commonly known as robotics. Computational thinking includes skills to model and decompose a problem, process data, abstract, generalize, recognize patterns, and create algorithms. Meanwhile, computer programming is the way to give precise instructions to the computer so that it can execute them and solve a problem for us in a general way.
