Initiative overview

This conference was established in 2016 with the aim of comprehensively examining social, economic, ethical, and legal issues related to AI networking for the promotion of AI networking in society as a whole, including examining the development of AI development principles and guidelines, and assessing the specific impacts and risks that AI networking poses to various social and economic sectors.After publishing the AI R&D GUIDELINES and AI UTILISATION GUIDELINES, as an initiative on AI that covers from principles to practice, MIC continues to research, summarize and publish advanced initiatives for AI utilization and governance by businesses to promote the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Implementation of AI in Society from 2020.The initiative has the following objectives:To study social, economic, ethical, and legal issues that the progress of AI networking may raise (AI networking refers to a formation of networks where AI systems become connected over the Internet or other ICT networks and able to interact each other).
