ICAIRE is an international centre established in Riyadh and it is the lighthouse for ethical AI. The centre has a legal personality, and financial and administrative independence to advance AI Research and Ethics worldwide.

Initiative overview

ICAIRE will be a key contributor to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and to UNESCO priorities. The Centre aims at advancing AI Research and Ethics in line with the values and principles of UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence. ICAIRE aims at advancing AI Research and Ethics through international cooperation by orchestrating AI R&D, championing AI ethics awareness, nurturing AI skill development, and providing AI policy advice.
