Automated Administrative Procedures in Hungarian
Objectives:- To support the automation of administrative procedures using AI-based services based on a language processing technology for the Hungarian language.- To collect both oral and written training data sets to train the language processing technology tool.- To develop a telephone-based customer service for the public administration using AI solutions.
National Laboratory for Autonomous Vehicles
The Laboratory aims to provide efficient and innovative autonomous solutions for road vehicles, aircraft and mobile robots by relying on a wide group of Hungarian experts. Activities focus on research, development, and demonstration of the components and functional design of experimental vehicles, cyber-physical manufacturing and logistics systems. The Laboratory collaborates with the ZalaZone autonomous vehicle test track.
Hungary's AI Coalition
In 2018, the government and a number of academic institutions and companies joined forces to create the AI Coalition. The Coalition is working on developing a national strategy and positioning Hungary as a leader in AI in chosen field. The AI Strategy is going to be released early 2020. Key agenda points planned to create the 2019-2020 AI Map of Hungary that should result in an ai-hungary.com website giving an overview for both internal and external parties on the AI competencies of the country.
AI Action Plan
Hungary announced an AI Action Plan, which analysts are calling the first pillar of a national AI strategy to define and form the institutional framework of the Hungarian data market and the AI ecosystem. The AI strategy itself should be completed by the start of 2020.
Hungary's AI Strategy
The Hungarian AI Coalition was established in October 2018 to offer a community and forum for all stakeholders in the Hungarian AI ecosystem who wish to make an active contribution to the development of the Hungarian AI environment and skills. The National AI strategy is the joint, action-oriented product of the Coalitions professional community, consisting of over 240 organisations and over 1000 delegated experts.
