OECD programme on AI in Work, Innovation, Productivity and Skills

The OECD programme on AI in Work, Innovation, Productivity and Skills (AI-WIPS) - with the support of Germany – analyses the impact of AI on the labour market, skills and social policy.

Third International Conference on AI in Work, Innovation, Productivity, and Skills

27 to 30 March 2023

Leading voices from the technical, policy, business, academic and civil society communities led evidence-based policy debate on the cross-sectoral impact of AI on society.

Sessions covered how firms will adopt AI, business dynamics, productivity and the ethics of its use.

AI in the workplace and what AI means for workers’ skills were also central themes.

On 22 February, the OECD Framework for Classifying AI Systems was launched at this conference. The OECD.AI Network of Experts developed the framework with the help of public feedback to make it more robust and useful for policy makers and other stakeholders.
