The AiNed programme is a flagship Dutch initiative designed to strengthen the country’s position in artificial intelligence. Backed by the National Growth Fund, it pools resources from government, industry, and academia to accelerate AI development and adoption.

Its activities cover a wide range of areas: ELSA labs that address ethical, legal, and social aspects of AI; innovation and learning labs that connect researchers and practitioners; and targeted support for SMEs and start-ups to apply AI in practice.
