Initiative overview

On November 2019, the Colombian government adopted the CONPES document No. 3975 that establishes the National Policy for Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence. Said policy, in addition to being the framework for digital issues in Colombia, established within its actions, the formulation of a public policy on cybersecurity to improve the country's capacities in this regard.The initiative has the following objectives:Strengthen the digital security capacities of citizens, the public sector, and the country's private sector.To update the governance framework on digital security to increase its degree of development.The adoption of models, standards, and frameworks on digital security analyzed under an emphasis on new technologies.
