Initiative overview

Lithuania’s Ministry of Economy and Innovation announced an EU-backed measure that seeks to encourage micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises to advance their digitalization. The programme offers funding so firms can purchase digitization and technology services—from process optimization tools to IT upgrades—lowering upfront costs for first steps or scaling efforts.

By targeting SMEs, the scheme aims to support productivity gains, better data use, and readiness for technologies like AI and automation, while building a broader base of digitally capable companies across the economy.
