Initiative overview

Lithuania runs several innovation support schemes to drive AI development. Under InoPažanga and InoBranda, 47 projects are underway in the middle-west region, with companies developing AI-based solutions aimed at scaling competitive products and services.

Alongside these, Inostartas specifically targets early-stage start-ups, offering co-financed grants to help transform ideas into prototypes or minimum viable products. The measure seeks to ensure that small firms can carry out R&D, validate markets, and prepare for certification or IP protection, laying the groundwork for commercialisation and follow-on investment.
