Initiative overview

The Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) runs tailored information, brochures, the CyberRisikoCheck diagnostic and other advisory activities for SMEs; the federal ministries also fund research and subsidy lines to make security solutions accessible to SMEs. These services provide awareness raising, risk diagnostics and concrete implementation guidance (and link SMEs to certified providers), thus improving the resilience of firms adopting digital technologies (including AI).
