The unprecedented pace of development of AI and technologies has accelerated the Fourth Industrial Revolution, resulting in increased uncertainties and different rules of competition. - AI has reached the human cognitive level, resulting in social and economic transformations and making traditional ways obsolete, which increase uncertainties. - The key elements of competition have changed from land, labour and capital to data, human resources and smart capital, exposing almost all industries and jobs to global competition. - The PCFIR is a government-wide command center established with the aim of fostering a suitable environment for undergoing careful trial and error and taking up challenges endlessly while strengthening the role of a supportive government that helps the private sector, which is the main player of transformation and innovation.Objectives:To deliberate upon and coordinate policy measures presented by government ministries and PCFIR members.To organise public campaigns on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and encourage public participation.To prepare the groundwork for regulatory and institutional reforms in support of public-private partnerships.To foster ecosystems for new industries through Special Committee on Smart City, Special Committee on Healthcare and etc.
