Initiative overview
Having been organized for the first time in 2018, TEKNOFEST, the world's largest aviation, space and technology festival, aims to raise awareness of the society on technology and science and to improve Turkiye's human resources trained in the fields of science and engineering. TEKNOFEST promotes the technologies of the future among the young people, and it hosts various events, especially competitions held in many fields of technology from rockets to autonomous driving systems, from unmanned aerial vehicles to underwater systems.In this international festival, aviation shows are open to the participation of show teams from other countries. The events attract many visitors, especially the foreign mission representatives and delegations. This platform provides the opportunity to establish cooperation between our country and other countries in the defense, aviation and space industries.The initiative has the following objective:Arouse interest in technology throughout the society and raise awareness about Turkiye's transformation into a technology developing society with such activities as technology competitions, air shows, concerts, interviews on various topics, and various events.
