TUBITAK has been publishing calls for project proposals on AI within its mission oriented support programmes since 2012, as well as in the scope of bottom up programs.

TUBITAK has been providing RDI supports to Artificial Intelligence projects to academia and industry. For 1,290 projects, a total of 1,57 billion TRY has been given to the industrial projects. Moreover, a total budget of 325.7 million TL (2019's fixed price) has been given for 460 academic projects.The initiative has the following objective:To support scientists, entrepreneurs and individuals.
